oh heavens those look so goood! I was hoping to find a french bakery here in vegas that made them, but so far to no avail. (aren't they a lot of work to make yourself?)

Not that much work, just lots of little steps, especially if you make your
own filling (I recommend using store-bought lemon curd or jam! Saves a lot
of time!)
