Timing was tight for me this year, opening the new shop so very close to the holiday season. I debated on even trying to make a Christmas-theme kit for the shop, but in the end I just had to do a little something. These are the Vintage Village Cupcake Kits. They are listed over at the Bake It Pretty Site, and on the new etsy site that I've sort of resurrected. It's a pretty simple and sweet kit with an obvious retro-vibe. The white edible glitter looks so much like mica flakes, and with the silver cupcake liners, snowmen, deer, and ballerina ice skaters....you can make some pretty nostalgic cupcakes. I had lots of fun making these for the photo-shoot.
I was going to do a blog giveaway for a few kits, but I thought it's be more fun to just give gift certificates so you can get whatever your heart desires. Sound good?
How about a $30 gift certificate to spend at Bake It Pretty?
Want to enter? It's easy!
-Just leave a comment in this post and be sure to include an email address or way for me to contact you. I will draw one winner for every 50 comments received. Friends, family, strangers, international: all are welcome to enter! The drawing will take place on Tuesday, November 25th in the evening.
- And to sweeten the deal for all you bloggers out there: make a link back to this post (or to www.bakeitpretty.com) on your personal site before the drawing on Tuesday, and if you are a chosen winner, your gift certificate will be bumped up to $50. Nice, eh? Keep in mind, you do NOT have to have a blog to enter the giveaway...this is just a bonus for pals willing to help me promote a little, which I'm always eternally grateful for!
My net-friends Amber, Cerri, Vintage Fern, The Constant Gatherer, Sloane , Big Sky Starlet, Casey, Kat (and probably more that I missed!) have already done little mentions about the new shop for no reason at all, how cool is that? Thanks so much guys!
*UPDATE*
Comments are now closed.
The six winners will be notified by email, and I will post their names on the blog later tonight.
Over 300 comments, guys? Seriously?!? I am speechless.

Yay! They look so cute. I hope I win! :P

I've also been a fan of your blog for a while and thought I'd never be able to quit my job and make and sell my goods on etsy for no other reason than fear. Well, you have inspired me to jump in and try. So next year I'll be making and etsy-ing full time!
Thanks for your great blog, fun supplies and all the inspiration!
